Holiday Break Activities at the Aalfs Downtown Library!
Join us at the Aalfs Downtown Library during holiday break for a number of family-friendly events - Crafternoons, Family Movie Friday, and more!
STEM Youth Events at the Library – December 28
Get registered for these STEM-themed events happening at the Aalfs Downtown Library on December 28 from 11 am to 12 noon! Ages 8-12 will use robotic building blocks to design and code on the Library’s iPad and ages 3-7 will have an imaginative journey with stories, beginning coding concepts, and the Library's Bee Bots!
Monday Matinee @ Morningside: December 23 at 1 pm
Look for a different movie every Monday at 1 pm through Memorial Day! December 23rd Movie: This musical Christmas film came out in 1954 and has gone on to become a holiday classic! The film's title is also a well-known Christmas song.

Sharing books and stories is important to your child’s brain development. Join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge that brings you and your child closer together while developing their vocabulary and preparing them to become a stronger reader. Learn how to get started!
Each week on Tuesday at 11 am at the Perry Creek Library or Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Morningside Branch Library join us for a fun and interactive storytime for ages 0 through 5! Curious young minds experience the magic that stories offer, build vocabulary, and develop early literacy skills for future reading success!
